1916 Chalmers Six-30 Speedster, Chalmers Speedster built in the style of the 1917 Record Speedster of Robert Valpey’s that recently sold at auction. Built with the Great Race in mind.The body used the cowl, hood and fenders of the original 1916 Chalmers 6-30 that were then modified to the Speedster form. The engine was rebuilt by a race engine builder indcludes SS valves; hadenen seats; static and dynamic balance; aluminum pistons. A complete rebuild of the carbureto; generator; transmission; starter;rear end;springs and spring shackes were done. The car has hydralic drum brakes in the rear and disc brakes in the front.
